I fell in love with photography in high school when I realized that shooting images wasn't just something fun I could do to pass the time, but as a tool to tell stories and show visuals in a unique and beautiful way. In college, I took the art form more seriously and somehow snuck my way into the art department so I could take their photography courses, and that's the moment I found out how much I could do with a simple camera and a sharp eye for composition. I did a mixture of photojournalism, art photography and theatre and events coverage during my years in school and came out at the end with a major in Public Relations, and minors in Photography and Theatre Arts. I used actor friends as models through that time and learned a lot about how to use human subjects in my work. Since college, I've focused more on travel photography and use that, along with writing, on my travel and lifestyle blog, but I still shoot models and headshots on the side. My goal is to create some beautiful looks and themes in many of my upcoming shoots and I would love to work with models and collaborators who fit my vision.
