Last year, out of the blue, a friend of mine offered me a job modeling for a Subaru print campaign. I had never modeled before, but I’m a songwriter, so I’ve had some experience with photo shoots. I agreed, and met the Subaru crew on the coast of Malibu. The experience was lovely. I met some great people, and really enjoyed the shoot. It felt pretty natural. I figure if a job falls on you, it might be worth looking into as a career.
If I were to attempt to summarize why I want to be a part of the Model Mayhem community, I’d say it’s simply because I have fun modeling, and I love meeting new people. And I think that when there is joy in any process, it shows in the final product, whether artistic, or commercial.
