Since 1971 I consider humans the most interesting things in the universe to photograph.
Briefly taught photography (studio and darkroom) at New York Univ. before starting DCR INC in NYC as a commercial photographer primarily doing headshots and contracted by modeling agencies as a tester for beginner models. In 2018 published a photo book `Seeing The Difference.'  I am about to publish 2nd book, `Seeing the Reflections,' a photobook of creative/artistic and concept type portraits. 
I enjoy making creative work much more than commercial.
The objective is to make a piece of art that brings the subject to life and tells a story.
I try to preserve a slice of the subject’s nature and beauty while telling a story; or create a `conceptual ' image that sends a message. It is a creative union of photographer and model that endeavors to make art.
Finally, photography is a challenging technical craft, that requires constant learning and practice to produce quality.  I’m always trying to be better.
