I started out in Photography back in high school 11th Grade 2008, In my photography class we made a camera out of an oatmeal cylinder. The process of film and photos peaked my fancy. After the military basic training, I received my signing bonus and bought my first DSLR, It was an olympus. I had it for 1 day and took it back to the store i didn't like the viewfinder on it. I then got the Nikon D5000 with the kit lens the 55-200mm and a 35mm 1.8G, and a speed light which i still have till this day. I began really trying to take pictures of people i know. which back then 2009-2011 i knew a lot of people so it was easy to learn new skills and help me progress. I made my jump to a nikon D7000 in mid 2011, at that point i was still a novice but had a decent mass of work. I bought a few lenses and tried to up my game. I was getting better and better, then i went to college. in college photography for me boomed. With no shortage of people I quickly got better and better with portrait photography, learned the basics of flash and using off flash set ups with soft boxes and other light modifiers. In college i Finally stepped up and spend big bucks at one time and bought a D500 when they first came out. All together it cost me 2411 for adorama, I loved that camera and i got heavily into sports photography. Which helped me make my mark in college. I was at almost every home game for football i was well known and it helped me to even get on the sidelines and close to the action. Unfortunately i never really took off from the business side from photography so spending all my money here and there on photography took its toll on me. My cars transmission went out on me and I had no money saved to fix it. So i have to sell my D500 and most of my lenses for not even half of what i paid. But I have finally came back. I got me a camera off of Ebay and received it in the mail this past week. March 2019. I am from pittsburgh so i am at a disadvantage up here I don't know many people, so I haven't been able to find anyone to shoot and help me get back to my former glory. I am looking for anyone who is available. I don't have money to pay however Time for photos and i can do prints as well.
