I am a portrait photographer in the Richmond Va. area. I picked up a camera in college and have been photographing pretty much everything or anyone. I shoot both digital and film. I use a Canon 6D camera with professional lenses. I also will shoot with a 35mm film camera, a Canon AE-1, and have shot medium format film as well. There is something special about the surprises you find when the film is developed! There is something unique and special about shooting film, especially black and white film. I have found that photographing people is my real joy. My experience includes photographing senior portraits and families in the Richmond area. I am still defining my style, hence being here, but If I were to define my style in a few words, I am a natural light photographer that creates candid images and sometimes series portraits for my clients that express their true self. My goal is to create images that I can add to my portfolio and build my business.
