My name is Cassandra and I originally got into modeling to learn more about photography. I am a studio art student at Smith College with a focus on photography and I thought the best way to learn more about photography would be by working with photographers. I started doing trade for print work and loved it. I sometimes follow the concepts of photographers, but other times I come up with my own ideas for places to shoot and what to wear. I found that with experience I was able to learn my angles and become more comfortable in front of the camera. I also feel that modeling has allowed me to be more confident and comfortable in my body.
In addition to modeling I also act, dance, and sing. I have been a part of two musicals here at Smith College and have been dancing for about 7 years. I have done hip hop, contemporary, tap, ballet, and jazz. I hope that through the connections made from this website I will gain more experience performing and be able to be a part of more creative projects.
