About Me

Hey! I'm a completely unknown photographer with little professional experience, dirt broke, and probably way too awkward for this industry. And, because of that (not dispite) I have an unrelenting drive to create art. I believe that the lines between different mediums of art should be blurred, be it sculpture, music, or photography or whatever. I've seen how the division of talent has held back art as a whole. It is my belief that true art can strip any message or emotion right down to it's absolute core and hurtle it right into your chest; tearing past the brain, past reason, obliterating societal boundaries along with all the bullshit we've stacked in front of us to protect each other from ourselves. And to do this, art can't play by the rules, it can't be put into a neat sterile entry into Wikipedia to be broken down into lifeless utilitarian catagories. I want to put together a new language, not one based on symbols and structure, but on life itself. A way of distilling the perspective of the individual through "art" to it's essence and throwing it right into the face of anyone I can reach. Because, we're all really just the same dude/dudette, we know each other's stories, we've known each other's pain and guilt and love and hopelessness and bliss and stuff. And this thing, this seriously stupidly crazy thing we call "art" is the only way we'll ever realize it. And once we do, I think that's when the ball will really get rolling for us. Or not, what the hell do I know, I can't even write a bio without making it weird.

I just wanna take some pics. Check out some of my shots.
My goal is to make photographic tableaux vivants (I'm not trying to sound fancy or anything, that's just what the style is called) with embedded narratives and eventually combine them somehow with works from other artist collaborations (musicians, VR artists, ASMR people) in order to create a more immersive experience. If you want an idea of the style of pictures I'm going for, search up "Gregory Crewdson photography". I hope I can find artists here (male or female) who would be willing to help with this kinda crazy idea by posing as characters. Ideally, if anyone is willing to try and "act" for the shot, that'd be even better. By act I mean embody a fictional character for the shot; not afraid to show emotion and cry or get too caught up with trying to look good rather than authentic. I know it's a pretty strange request and I'm more than happy to talk about it more one on one of you want. I'm not looking for any particular kind of person, as it depends on the nature of the specific shot, mostly just those willing to step out on a limb for something new! Add me as a friend if you're interested.
