I’m a figurative sculptor - mostly life sized. My work is primarily about the human experience and women’s issues. I’m currently planning a series of cast sculptures that talks about women’s global experiences. My website is lisacrane.net. Please have a look and you can see that my work has been as a clay sculptor, but currently I’m looking at doing plaster casts that will depict how women are far from equal. I will be casting full body, torso only, and body parts such as hands and feet separately, depending on the piece. I show at gallery 10 west in Santa Barbara and have shown my work throughout California. I hope to find models that are willing to remain in a pose for the time required - usually less than an hour. Hoping to find models that are easy to work with - pleasant and good with direction. There will be nudes, so they must be comfortable with that if the sculpture requires it. They are welcome to bring a chaperone.
