Hello, my name is Luigi Di Matteo, but my family and friends call me Gigi.
I have been interested in photography for several years and I started with an analogical camera when I was young, but I have really started shooting in 2016. What I like about photographs is that they capture a moment or an emotion that is unique, impossible to reproduce twice. My satisfaction is to capture the attention of an observer even for a moment. If someone pay attention to one of my photos, even for a moment, I have achieved my goal of transmitting an emotion, no matter if you like it or not, it is important that it has stopped to look.
Let’s close with a Helmut Newton quote that I totally agree with it “The desire to discover, the desire to move, to capture the flavor, three concepts that describe the art of photography”.
