Hi!
My name is Christine Johnson and I am an aspiring artist looking to expand my experience in the arts field.

I first discovered my passion for the arts at the age of nine when my mother enrolled me into artistic gymnastics. Through gymnastics I discovered discipline, endurance, courage, confidence and I learned how to dream big. I also nurtured a deep interest in performing for an audience.
From a very young age I choreographed gymnastic and dance routines and from there on my enthusiasm towards creativity just grew stronger. As a child, I always had a fascination with the creative arts, looking up to so many actresses, dancers, models and singers, My heart was set on visions of one day becoming one myself.

In 2002, I decided to begin some serious training at a local dance school "DancEast", where I took classes in Ballet, Jazz, Modern and Hip Hop. Through my attendance at DancEast, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to perform acrobatics and dance in a thrilling production at the Capitol Theatre called "The Nutcracker." What a magical experience.

In that same year I also completed the advanced modeling course at "Ruth Barne's Modeling Agency" in Moncton, NB. I've also taken part in various types of modeling jobs including choreographing and performing several dance numbers in the "SpeedSportEast" fashion shows at the Moncton Colesium. I've since continued my modeling career by working with various photographers, posing in front of the camera to gain more experience.

My very first accomplishment as an actress was in a bilingual documentary called "La Legende Bricklin" produced and directed by Chris LeBlanc. Not only did I get cast for a dancing role and made friends on set, but they hired me on as a choreographer too. I was very thrilled when I went to see the Premiere's and saw that they had used a shot of my legs for the movie cover! It was such an amazing experience that opened so many doors for me inspiring me to take on acting on a more serious level.

In 2006, I worked on Grana Production's dramatic feature film "Black Eyed Dog" (written by a Film Co-op member and premiered at Silver Wave in 2006), where I was able to get the chance to shoot a scene with the talented and lovely Miss Sonia Saloma.

Just last summer, I was hired on as an extra in the feature film "Growing Op" and my most recent casting was in the NB Film Co-op's Training Television Series "Diplomatic Relations".

I'm so grateful that I've found such true passion in my work and I'm loving all the new experiences and appreciating every new audition.

I also have a huge passion for music. I'm a singer and I play guitar.
In January 2007, I traveled to Anaheim California for the winter "Namm" Show, where I met a man by the name of Boo McAfee who is the founder of extreme sport drumming's "World's Fastest Drumming Competiton." That year I was nominated as the official model for WFD 2008, and the following summer of 2008 I was hired as "Miss WFD" for the "Namm" Show in Austin Texas, It was an amazing experience, a dream coming true right before my eyes...a true awakening. I am proud to now have the chance to work again this summer for the "Namm" Show as "Miss WFD 2008", in Nashville TN representing all the fastest drummers in the world.

I am presently teaching yoga and dance classes at the CCNB college here in Dieppe. I am building my cliental with plans of one day running my own business.

I have a hunger for acting, modeling, dancing and singing. I want to continue growing as an artist and am striving to make all of my dreams come true.

The Maritimes is full of support and I'm appreciating all that it has offered me. I'm young, full of life and ready to keep catchin' dreams.
