About Me

hello

I am an artist and photographer in nyc.
I have had a long history of creating images.
in the early 90's I was the co publisher of a cultural magazine called "blur".
during that same time for six years I created photographic covers for the DC/vertigo comic book called "sandman mystery theatre".
I also made record & book covers, snowboard graphics, and photographic laminate designs.

in 2000 I stopped doing freelance photo illustration and concentrated on own my personal art work. this has at times incorporated photography, sculpture, music and drawing.

I am now actively shooting portraits & nudes again, and I have found model mayhem a nice way to discover new people.
in general, I would say I enjoy the process of "looking" and like when that feeling comes through in a picture and can even be considered erotic. I like to make beautiful, raw and honest photos.
for the future, I think I'm looking to converge more of what I do creatively with my art work with my portraits. inventive and fantastical, worlds within worlds.
spirituality cloaked in the uncanny fetish is what to expect.
