Hey all,

I'm Matt Hawke, a freelance commercial photographer working and living in beautiful Pokolbin in the Hunter Valley.

Getting Back into Fashion Imagery after a few months of Inactivity on this front.

I have completed two years of study in Commercial Photography at the International College of Professional Photography in McMahon's Point, and graduated with the people's choice award for my work in the final exhibition.

I feel my work will never be perfect, I can always improve and keep working on the many ideas I have, always aspiring towards creating something unique which reflects my style, my ideas and the personality of the people working on the shoots.

I like to work with "make it happen" people rather than "yes" people, I always take pride in the preparation of my shoots, and will go to a lot of effort to take care of those who help me out.

I have a new rule of a six week maximum turnaround to get the finished images to Models, MUA's and Stylists after the shoot, as I have dropped the ball with this in the past and to those I let down I am sorry.

I would like to work with individual models who are passionate but not just trying to look like everyone else.

I have my own high end lighting equipment, I prefer to shoot on location as I believe it makes a more dynamic and deeper image.
