        Sammi Barber is a recent graduate of the acclaimed Acting for Film and Television Program at Niagara College. Samantha grew up in Ontario, Canada in a bilingual environment. From a very young age Samantha knew she wanted nothing less than to explore the world and experience big adventures first hand. Samantha is quite the character. Through use of sarcasm and energy, she naturally grabs the attention of whatever audience she craves.

          Her outgoing personality has always led her to experience new things and put her best effort forward at all times. She is an active member in the community threw participation in classes, community activities, and a variety of sports teams. For three years Samantha was an all-star cheerleader holding the title of Captain for one. Believing in the importance of supporting a younger generation, Samantha also volunteered as a coach for the club. Threw the pain and glory of her experiences Samantha never found her-self to be fully satisfied with team sports. Her constant drive and desire to be admired led her to begin freelance modeling.

          After landing many creative, editorial, and commercial shots, Samantha decided she wanted to pursue modeling further and learn more about the business. Meeting with numerous agencies’ that pushed her toward their commercial and talent divisions lead her to enrol for acting at Niagara. Discovering the art and craft of acting first hand made her eagerness to tell stories grow. Samantha has passions to show the world; her perspective, both in front and behind the camera. She enjoys the opportunities to write, cast, direct and compose as well as act. She gets creative ideas from all over and believes no idea is too small in reality.
