February 08, 2009 7:40pm Thank you! When the work is at its best it is a combination of physical presence AND spiritual essence. I think this sketch was one of the most successful from that study (Iâm working it up into a fully rendered illustration right now). I loved working with this model, even though she was new and had never done anything like this before. I think once she (make that we) got over some initial jitters and apprehension her naturalness and inner demeanor was able to come through more â and I tried my best to relate the coolness she contains. A good, comfortable and intuitive model is even more important than the right materials, easel, lighting, you name it, when it comes to more successful studies. She was the perfect muse -- very inspirational!
February 08, 2009 5:28pm This picture is hot, it actually stood out to me more than a girl just sitting there naked. It actually tells a story it makes me want to know what she was thinking, her expressions and body form tells a lot.
