March 23, 2016 12:47pm Thank you for the comment about the great energy of this photo. This was not staged. These are two best friends who go back to high school years. They love one another and drive one another crazy. The man above is a total extrovert, the man sitting an introvert. The beautiful tension of this shot is the extrovert hugging the introvert, messing up the introvert's beautiful white hair -- and the amount of love and trust that drove this instant in time. There is such a look of love and comfort in the extrovert's face. Any photographer who takes much credit for a photo like this is delusional. I spent a wonderful half-day with these two good men. And I just happened to have the camera firing at one of what was doubtless hundreds of great moments between two dear souls. This photo is why I love photography.
