October 09, 2007 8:41am This is a striking photo. The veil, the red lipstick, and the blue earring are all strong elements. I like the magenta light surrounding your face. I think maybe you're lying down on a satiny pillow, but it's a bit hard to read. The way you're holding your hands makes me think of the way Egyptian Pharaohs were buried... the veil and that pose give a bit of a funereal vibe to this photo. Maybe that's what people read as "creepy." I think it just means the photo is rich in subtext.
