December 31, 2008 8:52am Your feeling for composition and placement shows up again and again. Here her placement and the space to the right just exactly balance the direction of her looks. When I taught photography I told my students go give the eyes a space to look into and you have done exactly that. The sepia look is not as pretty a tone as your earlier sepia and I find the strong vignetting to be a little harsh. It does have the suggestion of being WWII vintage, except the makeup seems modern.
