Photography is a life-long passion of mine. It's my therapy, my creative outlet. I'm here to paint with light... to capture emotion... to make a statement. If you're just looking for a standard run-of-the-mill shoot, I'm not your photographer. If you want to create something special, let's talk.

I've got a very diverse background in photography. I'm a graduate of the US Navy Periscope Photography School and I've also studied photography at the Disney Institute.

I prefer using natural light in various settings and locations. I love to get creative and am open to ideas. You'll find that I have a very easy-going manner and comfortable to be around.

With me, you're not just a number. I do this because I truly enjoy doing it, not because I have to crank through a given number of clients in order to pay rent at the end of the month. Ideally, I like to build relationships over time so I can help bring out your personality in our work.

Photography is not my primary profession - but it's a serious, passionate, longtime commitment of mine. I started out in high school on the yearbook staff, was ship's photographer on board submarines in the U.S. Navy and have been working photography into various aspects of my life ever since. I've had several shots published in newspapers and have also had my work serve as the foundation of presentations given to the Joint Chiefs of Staff and other high ranking officials at the Pentagon.

Please note: If I add you as a friend it's not random! I'm either interested in working with you or your work is something I admire and respect. I generally reject "flyby" friend requests unless you fit into the above criteria in some way. Obviously, if you're a model or MUA and reasonably close to Sacramento, I can assume you're interested in working with me. If you're not from the Sacramento area, however, please accompany your friend request with a Tag or message indicating the intent of the friend request so I don't assume it's a flyby and reject it.
