I'm a second generation photographer who grew up in front of the camera and switched to shooting when I hit the awkward phase of adolescence.

I primarily photograph people and went full time in my photography business in 2006.  I love creating images that contain unusual juxtaposition, go beyond the obvious, tell a story,  avoid cliches, bring out my subjects' best attributes, and make people think. 

I specialize in underwater portraiture but still enjoy dry portraits if the light is nice and the subject shares my sense of adventure.

I live in the Seattle area and travel to Honolulu a few times each year with my next trip planned for  December 2011/Jan 2012.  I'll also be in Las Vegas Feb 15-23 2012. I can be reached via email at  sacha  sachablue dot com which gets checked a lot more frequently than this site.
