- In addition to innumerable editorials for the glossy magazines, advertising campaigns, and other corporate projects, Xander was the exclusive photographer chosen to shoot FHM’s 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 calendars.





- He shot the ad campaigns for Redken, Smart, Ponds, Sunsilk and many more.







- He has done exhibits for EPSON in 2001, an exhibit featuring 100 images of actress Aubrey Miles.



- His exhibits includes an exhibit for Samsung’s launching of new digital cameras that was held last June 2004, Rockwell Activity Center, a back-to-back exhibit with Mr. Jun de Leon tagged as FUSION, sponsored by EPSON, and followed by an exhibit called “DRENCHED” that was held last June 2005, sponsored by Epson.





-He successfully launched his first-ever coffee table book called THE X BOOK, last June 2004 at The Fort. It was
accompanied by a month-long mall tour.



-In 2004, AMERICAN PHOTO MAGAZINE selected him as their Featured Grand Winner for their Glamour and
Beauty category, out of about two thousand images from around the world. They have published his work
internationally in their NOVEMBER-DECEMBER issue.



-In 2005 DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHER Ukraine Edition run a 13-page article about him and featured 20 of his
stunning images.



-In the same year he was named by FASHION PHOTOGRAPHER of the YEAR by MTV PILPINAS STYLE AWARDS.



-Passion for craft and determination set off yet another development that will establish his niche in the
advertising world. Lifting the name from photography’s open secret about the edge of light being the finest
kind of light. True to his founding ethos, Edge of Light has gained recognition as a multi-media company
focusing mainly on photography and music videos. It also offers art direction and conceptualization for
pictorials, advertising campaigns, and videos. To date, the studio boasts a list of stellar clientele in the fashion,
advertising, and corporate worlds.



-In 2003, Angeles tried his hand at directing music videos. His first video, SLAPSHOCKS WAKE UP and NUMB,
won him the BEST DIRECTOR AWARD at MTV Pilipinas AWARDS that same year. He then directed other music
videos such as TRUE FAITH’s DEADMA, RACHEL ALEJANDRO’s KEEPER OF MY HEART, NINO ALEJANDRO’s
ALA-ALA and I STILL LOVE YOU. And his recent works includes JAIME RIVERA’s WILL OF THE WIND AND ERICK SANTOS’ ALA-ALA.

-Due to his success at directing music videos, Angeles decided to pursue further filmmaking studies at the New York Film Academy in September 2004. This paved the way for television commercial works that include Goldilocks, Red Bull Light, Promil and Motorolla Motobus.
-However, being behind the lens was not his sole calling, Angeles is also one of the endorsers of NIKON’s top- of-the-line professional digital camera, the D2Xs.



-In the first quarter of 2007, Xander Angeles was one of the panel of Judges in the new TV show PHILIPPINES
NEXT TOP MODEL .












-He is currently living and working in New York City.
