HEY THERE!!!
I have decided to open this profile as several photographers have been contacting me for editing advice and rates.  I have been doing this for over 4 years now and can go from subtle enhancements to extreme "photoshop surgery" and back.  My own photography takes up most of my time, but I have found that it is actually meditative to edit other people's work.  Go figure!

My rates for retouching are $100/hr, half of it paid upfront via PayPal.  What can be accomplished in an hour?  A lot!  However, some images do not require a lot of editing.  Please send me a description of your project along with samples and I will give you a quote.  If you absolutely disagree, offer me a price you'd like and I'll see what I can do.


*** PLEASE KNOW that I do not use any retouching plug-ins.  My main priority is keeping the texture of the skin real and unaltered in as much as possible.  What this means is that you get handmade retouching--a lot of good 'ole Wacom work on my tablet.  This is the quality stuff!!!  Don't fall for the plasticky bait and switch.  The plug-in stuff looks kinda good at low resolution but EVERYBODY can see it's retouched.  What you want is subtle.  Trust me.

***  My favorite projects include digital makeup and, basically, portrait retouching that just makes the photo a knockout.  Taking a snapshot to a Vogue-ish level is something I really enjoy.  As such, if you're a model and you got some headshots back from a session you're not altogether happy with in terms of retouching, send them this way.  The digital makeup sample in the port was done specially for MM and took about hour and a half.  That means for $150 you can get a TERRIFIC headshot!!!  Do it )))
