From an early age, LYSETTE ANN DRUMGOLD learned that creativity was the core of her being. She was born in Jamaica, W.I., which is where she first discovered her passion for fashion and
the arts. With the difinitive goal of developing her talents, she relocated to the U.S. and attended the Fashion Institute of Techonology in New York City. While attending the Institute and doing freelance hair and make-up for private clients, she quickly determined that she needed to be immersed in the lifestyle and went on to devote her time to retail, where she worked as a freelance make-up artist for all the leading department stores: Macy’s, Lord & Taylor, Bergdorf Goodman, and Saks Fifth Avenue.
    Continually aspiring to perfect her skills, Lysette trained at Empire Beauty Institute to become a certified cosmetologist and hair stylist. Lysette has spent the last ten years working, not only in fashion shows like “Zoo York,” where she was the key make-up artist, but in all facets of media: film, music, advertising, and book publishing. Her film and video credits include projects for VH1, the Family Channel, the Discovery Health Channel, and several major motion pictures and independent films. Lysette’s vast repertoire flows onto catalogs, book covers for Kensington Publishing Corp., and into music videos for artists such as Carl Thomas, Nas, and Kool and the Gang with Sean Paul, as well as a number of international artists. At present, Lysette works as an extensions stylist at Xac Anthony Salon & Spa and continues to lend her talents as a freelance hair stylist and make-up artist for a variety of private and industry events.
