About Me

My husband, Mark, and I fell in love with photography and it became an escape from our full-time jobs. We also love to collaborate with and learn from other artists. If you like our work and would be interested in collaborating, please send me a message.

[Update: We are currently preparing for a collaboration project for December (1st or 2nd week) that will be based on The Runaways. We are looking for wardrobe stylists, hair stylists, MUAs who are open to collaborate with us for TF-CD. Also looking for a blonde model to play Cherie Currie. If interested, please message.]

About Our Art:
Many have asked us why we chose to be portrait photographers. The answer is surprisingly simple, “because we see beauty in the human form.”

When we first started in photography, we took to the streets and mostly photographed the inanimate – signs, hydrants, windows, buildings and storefronts. Any thing we saw, we photographed. It wasn’t until we really looked that our photographs had evolved into street portraits.

Since then, we’ve always held a profound fascination for the human face. People are complex in nature and possess many intricate layers that make up personality and character. We simply aim to capture this in a photograph.

We then use different environments to enhance our subjects. When we allow someone to interact naturally with the environment, a sense of honesty and genuine emotion are revealed. When we allow someone to play a role and pretend within that environment, a deeper layer is uncovered.

Our cameras have become mechanical appendages that help us tap into and understand our subjects’ true nature, but we’ve come to realize that in exchange for this, we have to let go and be uninhibited as photographers. We truly respect and appreciate the trust that was given to us by each individual we have photographed.

Thus we became portrait artists.
