About Me

After pursuing two intensive studies programs at the Parsons School of Design and graduating from the Savannah College of Art & Design, this award-winning fashion design major will pick up right where her work at MTV, TBS & ABC, on commercials and over ten independent films has left her... with the experience needed to succeed after graduating in her SCAD class of 2008.

In New York, Miller worked as a costumer and dresser for Fergie's musical performance at the 2006 MTV Video Music Awards pre-show. This earned her special recognition in the Winter/Spring 2007 edition of SCAD's 'The Magazine' ("Dressed for Success: SCAD Student Caroline Miller Interns with MTV"), and the opportunity to work on other MTV productions including TRL and the 2006 New Year's Eve broadcast.

In Atlanta, she has earned credits as a costume production assistant on Tyler Perry's "Meet the Browns" TV pilot and the subsequent feature length movie, as well as set costumer on the TBS hit sitcom "House of Payne."

In Charleston, Miller was hired as a shopper for the Warner Brothers pilot starring Alyssa Milano and Mary Steenburgen. Miller's costume design work on a 1950's period piece at the Mansfield Reformatory, better known as the location of Shawshank Redemption, earned her the 2007 Best Costume Design Award from SCAD, and other 2006-07 SCAD short film nominations followed.

Her mentors, peers and supervisors have all come to recognize Caroline Miller's strong fashion sense and work ethic.
