My name is Jim and I am a self educated fine art photographer. What do I mean by that? I do not shoot digital. I use what are called Large and Ultra Large Format film cameras. The sizes are 8x10, 11x14, 14x17 and 8x20 panoramic. I contact print my large negatives and you will receive a fine art contact print in either silver chloride or a special carbon transfer print. I work in a wet darkroom and at the pace of a true artist.

I wish to explore the world of the fine art nude, figure, glamor and Hollywood & traditional  portrait styles. I use traditional methods of retouching negatives for my final prints.

My past work has been with the fine art landscape black and white and I only work in black and white. I am new to this type of work but my many friends have been after me to get going on my interests.  I do have a day job but I can sometimes work a shoot into my schedule. I am very open minded and would love to work with models looking to expand their portfolio's with what I hope will be some exquisite work.
