These days almost every professional photograph you see in print or in a successful portfolio has been retouched. Professional retouching turns good - even average - images into great images that in turn lead to more work. No matter how good you are there really is only so much you can do without the aid of post production. It's a real shame that so many great models and photographers rely on non-professional retouchers, which of course is where I come in. :-)


I have worked as a professional retoucher since 2003 where I began at image.net/Getty. I have since worked for corporate clients, magazines, photographers and, of course, models. Past clients include Vogue, Elle, Swatch, Marks & Spencers, Saatchi & Saatchi and ITV, as well as for numerous fashion and photography studios and small businesses. I am also a photographer and have been taking photos for magazines since 2004, especially in the music press. I am based in London but work with clients around the world.

My retouching rates are very reasonable and my turn around time very quick. I have experience doing pretty much everything whether its basic skin, hair and beauty to more high end or creative work.

I am offering special rates for members of Model Mayhem as so far the site has lead to some great clients.

My rates are as follows:

Basic retouch:
$14US (£8.50)  per image,
(Basic retouch includes Blemishes, colour correction, skin smoothing, contrast, basic background clean up, making pictures black and white)

Extensive retouch:
$16.50 US (£10) per image,
(Blemishes, colour correction, skin smoothing, contrast, plus: stray hairs, background clean up, remove tattoos, tuck in stomachs, reduce arm and/or leg size, alter breast size/shape, whiten teeth, more extensive background change)

Advanced / creative retouching (including the extensive retouch above) is charged at 40US (£26) per hour. This includes image comps (combining parts of different pictures), cut outs, background changes lighting changes)

Payment: I prefer Bank transfer but also accept Paypal or cheque. However i need to take payment prior to work or for larger jobs at least half in advance and half when the job is completed.

If you require references I have many happy clients - from model agencies to studios - who can provide them. It is very important to me that all my clients are happy with their images. I take my work and art very seriously.
