I  grew up in Marietta, GA and graduated from Sprayberry High School in 1972.  Later I studied photography at Valdosta State College.
I began working in photography in 1978, became a member of the Georgia Professional Photographers Association in 1979. I am currently a member of the Tennessee Weddings and Events Association and other local business networking groups.

In 1989, I moved to Tennessee and established Just Portraits Photography.  I  currently work full time, as a photographer and I built my studio behind my home, for convenience and to save the expense of leasing somewhere else.

I've had work displayed in professional photography salons and my trademark photo, ‘On the Right Track’ was featured in a coffee table book, titled ‘Mysterious Motion’, for it’s creative and artistic look.

My motto is, ‘If a picture says a thousand words, what will yours say’
