Hey

I'm Shirley, an 19 year old living in Singapore.

When I was a child, I fiddled with the toy film camera my mum bought me.

As I grew to be a teenager, my dad got me a compact Sony and I started to shoot daily scenes and sights around me, including snapshots of my family and friends.

Last year, I started taking up photography classes in school, and I'm honoured to be guided along by the local newspaper's journalist photographer. That was when I got my own DSLR.

As I picked up the different skills of using my Canon, I shot non-animate objects, and of course not forgetting my dear kitties. It was only recently that my interest in portraiture photography grew.

I don't just show up at a shoot with just my camera, but with a concept in mind as well.
