        I am a figurative and portrait painter,  living and working in New York city/brooklyn/bushwick. . I have an MFA with an anatomy focus from the New York Academy, and 12 years of experience working and teaching at the Art Student's League of NY.
Currently I am concentrating on my portfolio pieces, finding models and inspiration to paint.  I am on this website because live models are an integral to what I do. I prefer to work from life with my paintings, there is so much more detail you can get with the naked eye than working from a photograph (though photography is always a divine source of inspiration ). I often hire models for a photo session initially, to cut back the amount of time needed with a model, to finish a piece...  Please get in touch with me if  you would be interested in meeting or talking about my work...I am definitely interested in any kind of trade, model time for art work, and do hire models on occasion. I am very professional and interested in meeting responsible, friendly, and 'easy to get along with' models....
