The creative arts has always been a passion of mine.By the time I graduated college,I had already been working as an assistant fashion designer to two prestigious Australian fashion labels, and had started my own high-fashion line of clothing for men and women, after my graduation collection was picked up by a retail store.
After a few successful years of designing and creating my own fashion label, I decided to experience the world, and after spending some time working for a designer in Italy,I returned to Sydney, where I set my sights on the entertainment industry.
In 2001,my career in film began, designing costumes for a few short films and I came to realise that film was now where my true passion lies, having the ability to create costumes per character and bringing fantasy to life.
I have experience in a range of costume roles, such as designing for many commercials, short films and tv drama series, as well as buying costumes,dressing and styling many well-known actors on blockbuster feature films.
I also maintain my connection with fashion, by working closely with fashion labels to coordinate fashion parades and style shoots for editorials and books.
I am proficient in cut, fabric analysis and fit of garments, and am competent in creating costumes from any era, whether it be designing from scratch, or styling from sourced collections.
In early 2008, I relocated from Sydney Australia to Los Angeles where I continue to pursue my career in the entertainment and fashion industry
I have worked worldwide,and am currently available for jobs in Los Angeles and Australia.I also hold a European passport, and am willing to travel for paid work in any country.
My rates for shoots are negotiable,and I am very selective with *TFP shoots, choosing work which will return great portfolio images/tearsheets. Modelmayhem, for me, is a way to build working relationships with talented and professional creatives, and gain exposure in a new country.
