About Me

LETS GET SOME THINGS A MOVING AND A SHAKING!!!

It all started back in the late 80's when my mother was a model out in LA. I was on her "Composite Sheet" holding a Cabbage Patch Doll with a short bob and uncomfortable clothes.

Shortly after that photoshoot, I had to develop my own headshot and follow in my mothers footsteps....Needless to say, I'm not a famous model right now am I? I went to school, started taking acting classes in LA and Chicago, sang in my JR High School Choir and performed with the "Drama Club." Eventually, I made one commercial with my mom for MacDonalds, which only aired in China (They made us look more Asian, we are Eastern European).

In any case, I went about my schoolings, went to high school and still performed and took acting classes until I moved from LA to Batavia Il when I was 16. All art and art related expression basically ended until 1999 when I enrolled in the Theater Program at Columbia College Chicago, where I graduated in 2004.

Since 2004, I've been working sporadically on different theater assignments, comedy shows, voice over work, a couple independent films (I'm on IMDB now- woo hoo!) and have been maintaining my passion for my other art forms, drawing, painting, sewing, embroidery and jewlery.

So, why are you on Model Mayhem Jessica?

Well, a year ago exactly, a great friend of mine Agnes Miles asked me to start modeling for this company she was creating called "Love, Lulu Mae. ARTcessories for the Modern Woman with a Vintage Soul." So I got back into modeling with Agnes, Chris (the photographer) and the lovely products of Ms Lulu Mae.

During the summer of 2008, we did a photoshoot for what would become the first branding of Love, Lulu Mae and the pictures are on this profile for a better idea. Additionally, during the summer I was asked to come on board as a business partner, due to my extensive backgroud in small business work and my incredible knack for networking, marketing and PR. My work has paid off as the company is gaining national and international recognition and has been in major online and print publications.

I remained in my position of "Business Guru" and Model till the end of January of this year and am looking to pursue my love of performing along with my own creative line of Art Deco inspired jewlery. No big task at all ;-)

So, here I am. This what I look like. Added to this profile is a list of my credits if that's something that interests you and perhaps you may want to use me sometime. I'm a lot of fun to have on a project, if for anything I make everyone laugh and am dedicated and professional. Thanks for reading!
