About Me

Time sensitive. Model needs to be fitted for suit this weekend. The window for a fitting ends on the 15th. Job for February 19, 2017. I'm a photographer reaching out to you along with a group of wedding professional vendors that I have in place for a styled shoot on February 19th at the 16th Street Train Station in Oakland.

We are not only doing it for a publishing credit on a wedding magazine blog but for an artisan candle company who will credit us as well. The artisan candle company has been published in Brides & Oprah print magazines among others. I too have been published several times both online and in print.

A bridal boutique in Oakland is working with us and our female model. Now we are looking for a male model. Indochino has come on board and is offering us a tailored suit at about a $500 value. The suit is to be tailored to the model who can then take it home after the shoot. Unfortunately we are not getting paid for the project so the suit would be considered compensation.

Most weddings don't tend to be editorial in nature but our styled shoot will be a bit more so.

We  plan to stay on trend for 2017 and are doing a brunch themed wedding with a muted apricot palette with touches of burgundy. You will find the color story on the vision board I've included below. Burgundy and grey suits are in style for 2017 according to the Knot and Wedding Wire.

Conceptually the shoot is inspired by, http://www.magnoliarouge.com/inspiration/simple-minimal-and-meaningful-japanese-tea-ceremony/

If you are interested in spending a few hours with us on February 19th we'd love to have you.

Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing back,

Julie

Meet our team...

MUH: The lovely Joey from, http://www.jbeautique.com Joey and I share a love of animals and have worked together photographing dogs. She's worked with both female and male models.

Floral Designer: The talented Wendi from, https://www.instagram.com/sweetnessandlightflowers/ Wendi and I worked on one of my favorite weddings together.

Venue: My brilliant and generous long time clients, Gretchen and Jim have offered to grant us use of their Glen Ellen property for the day. There is a lake, beautiful trees and I believe it abuts a vineyard. The property comes with chickens and a dog too!  http://www.7x7.com/property-porn-sonoma-residence-1931984443.html?slide=pxqBBm

We have changed this venue and are now at the 16th Street Train Station in Oakland. https://www.instagram.com/p/BIdUqJljBgg/?taken-at=540118532

Brianne: The beautiful calligraphy works from http://www.brownfoxcalligraphy.com

This lifestyle shoot is for a candle company, https://www.greentreehomecandle.com and to get published. The times I've been published in Style Me Pretty and other online magazines I had a years worth, ( 2 seasons) of prospective client inquiries just from that one post.

The story and vision board: https://www.pinterest.com/JulieWeisberg/2nd-vision-board-idea-for-lifestyle-shoot/

I'm looking for an elegant, simple, sophisticated and romantic table and couple, staying away from bohemian. (as in head garlands, hair down, feathers or bones. Instead I'm going for a more sophisticated look.

Thank you everyone for participating in this day and for donating your collective talent, time and materials. I'm really looking forward to it!

Julie
