Presently I am most interested in boudoir and glamour photography. Boudoir photography is awkward for many women, but many women also want to do it anyway. And they should! It's a great way to capture their femininity and appeal so they can see themselves as others might.

I am also excited by glamour and fashion photography. The fashion industry seems to be taking some lumps from the popular culture lately, but I think many people aren't keeping a proper perspective on it. It's all a fantasy, and everybody needs fantasy of some form. Fashion is a bit like Ariel the mermaid or the Frost fairies,  but created for mature, sophisticated tastes. It is an opportunity to add artistry to the already artistic human form and affect people in magical ways.

I imagine glamour photo projects from time to time that combine pop culture ideas with the sexy stylings of classic glamour and pinup photography. I feel many women could be coaxed to sit for these kinds of photo sessions, but it takes production effort from more than one person to make some of them happen. It requires collaboration by like-minded people of a variety of disciplines. I should start sketching some of these ideas and creating theme boards to help illustrate what I want to do.
