I am an eighteen year old girl, born and raised in Connecticut. My name is Cheryl Lynn Cote. When I was young, I was a very shy child, my only friends were books. I found a great deal of serenity and adventure within the pages of a novel. I could be anyone I wanted to be. I could be outgoing and beautiful. I could be daring and strong. I could slay dragons and marry magicians. Anything I wanted, I could have. As I grew up, books remained my good friends, and I was quite the outcast. My life consisted of a constant stream of bullies and little girls who thought they were the world. Around my freshman year in high school, I vowed that it would end. I set out to be pretty. And in that journey, I have hit a great many speed bumps. I thought for a while that 'pretty' meant finding a niche and being the best looking person within it. I tried to be goth, skater, ghetto, emo, a cheerleader, even. But nothing seemed to work. No matter how pretty people said I was, I always felt ugly. So, what was pretty? Well, it turns out, I was pretty all along. I didn't need the approval of others. I didn't need silly clothes. I didn't need fake personalities. I needed to be me. And from now on, I won't be anything else but me, myself, and I.

Goals;;
Right now, my main goal is to see myself through college. I am a music major, focusing in voice. However, I have many side goals that I hope to achieve in the near future. One is to finish the novel I have been working on. And another is to try and develop my modeling talent. If there is any talent at all. I enjoy having others take photos of me. Mostly because I appreciate the beauty that photographers always seem to find in me. A beauty that I sometimes fail to recognize on my own. When I look at a finished set, I just get so excited. I think it would be something that I would really like to learn.
