Experience:

General Photography:
Of course, I have experience using a basic point and shoot camera since I was able to hold one in my hands. Two years ago I made the jump to a Digital SLR and have enjoyed every second of shooting and setting up for the perfect shot. I took two photograph classes at El Camino and had a lot of fun. This made me really think about purchasing a better camera. My current set up is a Cannon EOS 7D paried with an EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM for standard zooming and an EF 24mm f/2.8 for wide angles to capture more action. I have always been attracted to shooing nature or landscapes and have since my purchase of the Cannon, I have been shooting my friends and family for experience. There have been a few times that I have met up with some other people interested in photography in West LA and we would just go out and shoot EVERYTHING! It was a blast since these were more experienced freelance photographers that were actually helping me while shooting at the same time.

Models:
Most of my friends get a bit shy or nervous by me sticking my camera in their face a lot so that is why I am here. To connect to a broad array of people associated with modeling and to advance my interests in photography.

Goals
My goals with photography include the short term and long term. Short term, I would like to have a first shoot where I actually get paid for my work. In this time frame I would like to build up a network of people that could aid me in advancing in this field. Long term, I would love to own and operate a photography company that specializes in live models as well as landscapes.

Reasons for being on MM
Just like most everyone on here, I want to network and find more contacts within this industry.

Though I am "green" and do not have as much experience I do have an extremely professional attitude and work ethic.
