Welcome to the lions den, where you feel the sounds of beating hearts, and hear the hunger of a rising star. Joseph .A. Sanders “A.K.A LION” he adds “Ima make them remember my name,” was born in the state where moves are mad California. At the age of 7 he moved to New York Where he learned his swagger and fell in love with music. He always dreamed of growing up to become a song writer/ singer not knowing if these dreams would ever come true. Coming up he sang in his church choir on and off until the age of 17. Discovering his talents of writing at the age of 14, while at Teen Bash, “I remember asking a friend how to write a poem, and he told me just write from my heart.” Joseph wrote his first song titled Act Up at the age of 15, claiming he’s addicted to the pen and if he didn’t have a pad he would write on his arm. At the age of 19 with a year of college under his belt, Joseph left for Atlanta from the comfort of NY to pursue his goal, never calling it a dream he adds knowing full well he’s going to make it. In Atlanta he teamed up with Adam “The Pen and The Pad” Anderson, who taught him how to train his vocal, write with his feelings, and hit his fans with crazy punch lines. Though Adam has left Atlanta and returned to Detroit Adam and Joseph stay in close contact pushing and aspiring each other to continue. “In a way I have to thank Adam for pushing me, and keeping me going. He has inspired me and given me so much to learn from.” Thank You Adam .A. I Will Not Stop… The LION roars winter 2008!!!
