Sergia has a BFA in Drama from Tisch School of the Arts, NYU, where she studied at Stella Adler Studio of Acting and the Experimental Theatre Wing and Musical Theatre at Collaborative Arts Project 21. Her New York Theatre credits are far reaching including working with Broadway director Jerry Zaks in City Center Encores! Bye Bye Birdie, and working with up and coming Theatre company the PossEble Theater in Den of Thieves. She has also appeared in numerous national commercials including spots for Verizon, Cascade, Chrysler and has co-starred in TV shows 3 lbs. and ABC's The Forgotten, as well as acting in the re-ocurring roles "Aurelia" and "Nell" on CBS's Guiding Light.

Sergia is also an accomplished dancer with classical ballet, jazz and modern dance training. In 2007, she turned her focus to latin hustle, salsa, and partner dance and took home over 10 professional titles, including 5th place in the 2007 ESPN World Salsa Competition in Orlando, Florida.

This past year she decided to uproot her life in NY to come to Los Angeles to focus mainly on film and television and has had roles in the films The Company We Keep, Getting High in the Barrio and webisodes Firmly Legal, Torte Reform, and Happy Endings: Have the Time of your Life Dying. Sergia also was the Host for The LA lifestyle show SoCal NOW on KCAL 9.
