I'm a professional artist and while I prefer to paint from live models - simply because of the realism and spirit they bring to the canvas - with recent work, even physically fit models have a hard time holding the required poses for longer than a few minutes… so I take snapshots during each sitting, later used for reference material while I paint.

In exchange for art modeling, I provide a relatively high caliber of studio photography TFCD to models, especially those who can bring ideas to the table for the work they want done for themselves. (All you have to do is provide whatever props/clothes you'll need, and remember that the studio is small.)

ABOUT THE CURRENT PROJECT
Called, "Exigency," it's a series of up to 40 canvases meant to tell the story of victory over defeat and involves varying degrees of drape (nudity) - nudity used early in the storyline to symbolize vulnerability; and later, unadorned, victorious, male prowess.

THE MODELS NEEDED
The ideal model should have an athletic, muscular build and should be relatively uninhibited, (though for some paintings - particularly if a model has a certain 'look,' I'm willing to work within his comfort zone of 'modesty.') (Not all paintings involve full-body nudity.) Since I'm trying to capture the timeless, natural male, body hair should be left unaltered.
