Born in Paris, France and based in Brooklyn, NY, Kathy Wilson is the latest designer to rock the fashion runways. From the White House to Hollywood's elite, Ms. Wilson's designs are dressing some of the best in the biz. Rock Legend Stevie Wonder was the first to showcase her designs while in attendance at the White House Correspondents Dinner in 2009. Michelle Pfeiffer, Sophia Bush and Masi Oka have also followed with select pieces in their private wardrobe collection.

A FIDM Graduate and armed with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from San Diego State University, Ms. Wilson started her fashion career as an intern for Australian Designer Richard Tyler. Her talent and passion for design was recognized within the first three days of her internship as she quickly landed a paid position to work in the patternmaking department of the Los Angeles based factory. She would later earn a pivotal role as a part of Richard Tyler's Design Team where she was trusted to work with A-listers for Red Carpet events - a crucial landmark in her evolvement as a fashion designer.

"My experience working with Richard Tyler provided me with a strong platform in launching my own line," said Ms. Wilson. "Not only is Richard a sweet and nurturing man, but his eye for details in all of his garments (Couture, Bridal & Contemporary) has inspired me to always pay attention to not only the look and fit of a garment, but also how good it feels inside."

A "citizen of the world", Kathy's inspiration comes from world travels with her husband, who serves in the military. Influences from Japan and China to New York and California are found not only in her designs, but also in her work ethic.
