"I will not be just a tourist in the world of images, just watching images passing by which I cannot live in, make love to, possess as permanent sources of joy and ecstasy"
— Anaïs Nin ----------------------------------------------- i'm just a girl who lives and loves, a heart the size of an ocean and will for revolution. i'm not a photographer. i'm a soul-stealer. ------------------------------------------------ i shoot 35mm, 120 and occasionally polaroid. only. ------------------------------------------------- i do not like distortions of reality. what you see is what you get. i shoot film because it is raw, untouchable. i want the moments i capture to come alive in themselves, not with a computer. ---------------------------------- i think it is very important to embrace sexual positivity for women as a means to an end for rape culture. i also think it is important to challenge contemporary misogynist views of female eroticism. that being said, i'm a feminist through and through. my work reflects that. ---------------------------------- i've been actively shooting and working with film for 10 years. my primary focus is on fashion, eroticism, sexuality and feminine expression. ------------------------------------- a photoshoot with me is just a weird extension of hanging out. i often let "models" choose their vice, if they may (wine, green, cigarettes, tea...) and we sit and talk- we discuss sexuality, love, health, passion- anything that they feel comfortable discussing. i like stories. i like knowing where you've been and who you are now because of it. i like taking candid photos in these vulnerable moments. i love the women that come out of it. i also love glam, and boudoir and fashion. i'm always about a good, sexy dress up game. ------------------------------------ Please note, the majority of my work is all in film and i don't have a scanner! so it's hard to display digitally what i've done. ------------------------------------ oh! and i've started modeling a bit i suppose? #2326283 Credit Notes
"It is the function of art to renew our perception. What we are familiar with we cease to see."
