Here's the History.

Zebulon has been designing clothing for 20 years. Zebulon was inspired to design clothing by his Mother The Late Bernice P. Crawford who used to make her own clothes & accessories. Zebulon began His journey in fashion, in middle school where he made clothing and wore it to school. The clothing he made drew attention from his classmates as well as the staff. When Zebulon got to High School he was encouraged my His counselor & teachers to attend BOCES tech. and that’s where he got his initial introduction to the world of clothing construction.

In 1998 Zebulon sent his first gown to the New Rochelle High School Senior Prom. This gown was notorious and was talked about years after the prom. After a brief hiatus from designing he then decided to move forward with his passion and learn the technicalities of bringing his dreams to life.

In 2003 Zebulon enrolled in Katharine Gibbs NYC, Majoring in Fashion Design & Merchandising. At the end of the 3rd semester He endured and completed the semester in spite of losing his Mother, who was battling Colon Cancer. He returned the following semester with a new determination for success and concluded the remainder of his schooling.

In September of 2008 Zebulon Crawford was featured in a local Fashion Show Hosted by the "Step-up Girls" of White Plains, NY as an up and coming designer. Zebulon successfully sent 4 of his Gowns down the runway to an anxious and welcoming crowd. The couture pieces were modeled by young adults from the local area of White Plains and Connecticut in effort to raise money for Cancer research @ St. Jude's Children's Center. The Show was a success and in a later article in (The White Plains CitizeNet Report)Zebulon was "likened to the best... of Project Runway.

Inspiration:
I am a fan of Alexander McQueen, I admire the classic style of Chanel, and I love the Zany antics of Betsy Johnson's Colors. Shoes boost my creativity. Biblical Scriptures are most recently the inspiration for the featured collection in my portfolio. The Collection is titled "By His STRIPES we are healed."

Goals:
I'm looking to Have a Successful Clothing Company and have my clothing word by Women & Men all over the WORLD. Currently I Design Womens wear, but and venturing in to Mens Wear as well as Accessories. I hope to make an lasting impression through clothing on the Fashion Industry.

Purpose of Association:
From this site I'm Looking to network with those who are serious about their craft. Have a Passion for Fashion and are looking to move forward & up.

Style of design:
In designing for a female I try to incorporate her personality in to the design. I like to be flamboyant in flare, as well as attention grabbing. I love creating fun pieces that are exciting to look at all the while functioning & comfortable
