He awaits you
Tears for you pour from the eyes of many
Like the vast rivers of the earth
Now you are at peace
A rough edged servant you was
You have no more worries and no more pain
Yet our tears of sorrow and tear of joy still flow
You lived your life the best you knew how
Now go into the light and get well
Your armies of demons are no match for him
With open arms and pure heart
He awaits you
Go where the blind can see
Go where the deaf can hear
And the mute sings out clearly
Worry no more
He awaits you
This part of your journey ends tonight
My faithful guardian
My heart will hurt for you
All the same my spirit will celebrate
Your name is in his book
Know that one day
Our journey will end here as well
And our paths will cross once more
Unfortunately
Many whom think he have their name
Will uncover their tribulation
He awaits them too
Worry not about the streets of gold
You will not need them
The rivers of sweet nectar
Will wash you clean
You will lie on grassy pastures
As winged children receive you home
As he awaits you
My faithful guardian know this
My tears are not ones of pain and sorrow
My tears are tears of happiness
