Freelance Makeup Artist, Markus Timothy began his career in the unlikely City of Calgary, AB working as the Assistant to Beverly Hills Makeup Artist, Amy Nicole. His passion for the industry lead him to New York City where Markus attended the renowned school of makeup artistry at Chic Studios NYC. There Markus studied Fashion, Runway and High Definition(HD) Editorial Makeup.

After completing his education at Chic Studios NYC he excepted an Artistry Position with Sephora and relocated to busy downtown Toronto, Canada.

Since moving to Toronto, Markus has partnered with several talented designers and worked with leading photographers in the fashion community. His exceptional work has allowed him to represent several leading cosmetics lines and appear in the Toronto Star as a consulting artist. His work at the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival caught the attention of Sephora Artistry Managers, and Markus was selected to work alongside the Sephora Pro Beauty Team at the exclusive Versace Fashion Show in April 2010.

Candice Serrette, Owner and Founder of Luscious N Brushes also took notice of Markus' work and has since taken Markus on as her Assistant.

Currently Markus continues to progress himself by being actively involved in the Fashion and Beauty industry in Toronto, while working closely with Candice in the HD film and television sector. Markus' professionalism and natural talent for creating "what looks right" continues to set him apart as a Makeup Artist.
