Headpiece and Jewelry designer, Jacquelyn Martínez was born in Manhattan, New York to a Puerto Rican family that had deep roots in fashion design. Her grandmother, Inocencia “Sensa” Prosper, a glove designer of Portuguese and Spanish decent; has heavily stirred her with stylish and classic designs.

Jacquelyn's grandmother inspired her new line of headpieces “Sensa for U by JM”, where she’s infused, European, Latin, American and 1950’s design, with antique and modern edge flair.

Classy, sophisticated, funky, trendy, stylish and forever fashionable looks are her concept. Developing Hats, Pins, Headpieces, Brooches: looks inspired by decades of luxury and vanity; where fashion was a necessity and not a luxury.
