I was Born and Raised in Dominican Republic, so yeah I'm a island Kid from the Caribbean, I moved to NY in 1998 started working for Mac Costmetics in Soho and Have and intensive portafolio working with models, Actors, and just Regular Peoples, Modeling instructor and the founder of Merge Instituto de Modelos and AZFashion101. Alex Garcia Modeling career started at the young age of 18 years old, modeling for Oscar de la Renta, Versace and United Colors of Benetton in his country Dominican Republic. Born to be on the "fashion world" he quickly realized how much he enjoyed teaching Modeling and giving back to the fashion community. Alex has coordinated Arizona's most Exciting fashion shows involving new local designers each time to the annual fashion shows he organizes for Merge Institute and AZFashion101. Alex has been an active coordinator for Runway Shows and local clothing stores such as the House of Miasia, Premios Palmas de Oro, Wave Store at the Arizona Mills, Goodwill of Central Arizona Halloween Monster Bash, Serenity Runway 2005, past coordination of Fashion for WQ Magazine (Weddings and Quinceañeras Expo 2006), The 43rd Annual Mental Health Guild Fund Raiser Brunch & Couture Fashion Show and his most recent Catwalk Enchanted Chameleon 2006 where 7 other designer showcase at the Ice House AZ. Alex Fashion Shows has been featured in News Times, Gente Latina Magazine, Latino Perspective, Arizona Republic, Arizona Informant, Prensa Hispana, Cashak Magazine. Alex Also is a Freelance Stylist and recently got hired by CBS TV Channel to be the Stylist for the Pilot Series: Tuesday Night Book Club.
