I'm an award-winning writer and photographer. I think of myself as more of a writer than a photographer, but, with my partner in mischief Forrest Black, I have shot dozens of magazine covers and posters and worked for pretty much every important subculture magazine including Tattoo Savage, Marquis, Skin Two, and of course Blue Blood in print and online. I have photographed members of more than one hundred bands.  I've shot dozens of clothing designers' lines.  I've also worked for all the major adult publishing houses including Playboy, Penthouse, Flynt, Crescent, Magna, and AVN.

I'm probably best known for founding Blue Blood, the seminal magazine of counterculture erotica and lifestyle.

I was born in London and raised bouncing about the world. I've lived on three continents, in half a dozen countries, and a whole bunch of states in the US. I have never driven cross-country, but some day I hope to be able to.

***What I Am Looking For***

MODELS
We enjoy shooting a variety of body types.  We photograph men, women, and those in between.  The most important thing to me is that someone I shoot have that certain something, star quality, individuality, passion of personal expression to put in front of the lens. I like cool hair too. Although I shoot a lot of fashion and music work, I have a strong preference for photographic subjects who are comfortable nude.  Primarily currently shooting trade for content and/or trade for tears. I want to shoot people who are personally invested in creating the final art and not just punching a clock.

DESIGNERS
Always interested in funky, cool, punk, gothic, couture, latex, extreme designers who want exposure for their creations.  If you are interested in press and product placement in shoots, you can mail samples with return information (i.e. whether you want your items back, what your timeline is, particular hopes for shooting) to:

MAKEUP ARTISTS
I adore makeup artists who can do wild forward-fashion creative looks.  Ability to do body makeup is a plus.  We generally only have more than a microbudget for makeup for larger commercial jobs, but I am very open to doing portfolio trades and other punk rock barter with inspirational individuals.

Want to tell me and Forrest Black what to do?  Need catalog work, band promo shots, magazine layouts?  Please feel free to inquire here or to [email protected] with information on your job and your general budget.  Pricing will fluctuate based on your needs and our expenses i.e. models, makeup artists, location, rentals, etc.  We will, however, attempt to work within whatever budget you have.  If you have a budget where we can pull out all the stops, then you will certainly be thrilled, but we also enjoy doing work for independent commissions with tighter budgets but greater creative freedom or really exciting subjects. 

PHOTOGRAPHERS
