Friends (30)About Me
I am first, a digital archiver. I try to stay away from that "pro photographer" pretentious stigma that we have all seen and or heard of. I just love to shoot pictures.
I started with a sincere interest when I was around 9 or 10 years old. When I was in my late teens, I was gifted with a Minolta X700, which I still own today. In my early 20's I took several college courses in photography, including a course from professional photographer Geir Jordahl http://www.jordahlphoto.com/ I shoot many things. I have a sincere passion for the ever changing world of graffiti and mural art. Meeting several of the local artists, I am even more hooked on their work and styles. The thrill of the hunt looking for the next piece not yet archived. Their work is often painted over in mere days, weeks or months. Which makes for a gotta hurry and shoot it excitement in my hunts. I also have a huge interest in buildings that are in a state of decay. If the paint is peeling and the vines of a wandering plant is trying to swallow the house, then I want that picture. Rusty cars, yup, I love the car that is dead in a field or driveway. You will also see in my photographic portfolio cars from the 50's 60's and 70's.
