I'm relatively new to the industry (3 years) but I've made up for it by doing TONS of research and lots of travel in different cities testing markets. I've now identified my target market; blue chip clients.

In the beginning I was told "you'll never be a working model". Now I am. After that I was told "I don't know..your too editorial, you'll never do catalog". Now I do. The latest statement I heard is "they rarely hire people of color in major campaigns, you need a great agent & a lot of luck..." I respectfully disagree. I've already started and I know it's just the beginning.

My truth is is that we (models) are not just selling clothes but also a lifestyle. If the client sees that we portray that which embellishes his line & image within our portfolio, and lastly; If people of color are included in their target demographic; there is a strong possibility we'll get the booking.

My goals in having a presence on this site are to expand my client base both here and internationally and secondly; serve as an inspiration to all who are passionate about this profession.
