My name is Lisa Snead and at the age of two I became friends with a girl named April Wagner Regular. She has Cystic Fibrosis which is a terminal genetic mutation that the body does not make the salt that breaks down mucus. This creates overproduction of hard tacky mucus that effects all over the body, in April’s case it mostly effects her lungs. April had a double lung transplant Nov. 20th of 2010. After a lung transplant, the patient must be immobile for months, so her mother took off work to take care of her daughter. This wiped out a majority of their previous fundraising money. Because the lungs are not her own, her body could eventually reject them, and we want to make sure that she will have the means to pay for future expenses.
To help raise money we plan to do a show and I desperately need clothes, just message me for details. We will sell your clothes, or give them back its up to you, we just need something down the runway.
