I am a professional artist of thirty years standing, working mostly with watercolour, but also charcoal and pencil to produce tasteful nudes and semi-nudes. I work with a live model, but often for convenience, I use photos, from which I produce finer studies. I also teach watercolours and hold regular life-drawing workshops in my small garden-studio. Models often contact me, if they wish to add a painting,or a drawing to their port, or perhaps to purchase one. Limited edition reproductions of my work are available and in most cases a signed artist's proof is accepted as part-payment for shoots from which I gain material for future works. I'm flexible and not in the least greedy. Some overseas models express an interest in a painting of themselves, and I can work from a selection of suitable photographs, either from their ports (assuming that the photographer has given the appropriate permission for them to be used for this purpose), or from their own personal collections.
